Finally after 2 weeks planning, learning about WordPress, Photocrati and Desktop Server, designing and configuring, WildLight version4 is live. I deleted V3 from the webhost late yesterday afternoon and the hoped for smooth install with Desktop Server’s Quick-deploy didn’t work. After editing down the site a little a manual install got the site running but a number of galleries didn’t transfer. The lost ones were sent up via Dreamweaver ftp and by bedtime it was all looking like it should. Still some niggles to sort with permisssions to allow easier editing of the site – Photocrati help was  prompt and professional but it seems that the problem is with my web host and their usual prompt help hasn’t materialised this time.
