New Zealand Birds Online has finally launched live. This is a great online encylopaedia of our birds. It is a joint project of Te Papa (our national museum), The Ornithological Society of NZ (of which I am a member) and The Department of Conservation. I supplied 85 images for use on the site and am pleased to have my images chosen as the feature images of Black Swan, NZ Dotterel, Blue Duck, Grey Teal, Welcome Swallow, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Little Shag, Pied Stilt, Silvereye, Galah, Goldfinch, Mallard and Laughing Kookaburra and almost all my other images used as subimages for their species.

NZ Geographic magazine has requested my Welcome Swallow image to run with their upcoming article on this new resource so I am looking forward to seeing that.
